Government Cracks Open a Can on Spam

Hurray! The government finally does something good for the Internet! No, they haven't announced their next move in the battle to gain control over the reins of censorship on the Internet. Instead, they gave some angry, egomaniacal teen 5 years in prison and 3 more on probation for hijacking computers and networks in his efforts to spread spam thickly accross the Internet. Of course, in the end the best solution for angry, aimless teens with aspirations to rule the e-Underworld is the sweet carrot of a big paycheck in exchange for valuable skills that may be employed for the good of network security. I mean think about it, on a good day such born-again hackers may even get the chance to face down their darker analog from the past, in real time!
